The UEFA Communications Division is responsible for all activities involving UEFA’s relations with the media, as well as for the production of UEFA’s various publications and reports and the UEFA corporate social responsibility portfolio. It promotes the work and positive values of UEFA to the outside world, beyond just the football family.

As European football has become a massively popular social activity, UEFA has a duty to ensure that our sport behaves as a committed corporate citizen. The division therefore works closely with the international media, NGOs, national governments and the European Union in order to promote and protect the European game and its competitions.

The Media Services unit works directly with journalists and broadcasters on a worldwide basis, responding to media enquiries, providing information, drafting press releases and organising interviews and press conferences.

The UEFA Brussels office works day-to-day with the European Union institutions: the European Commission, European Parliament and Member States, building close working relationships with the EU in order to represent and safeguard the interests of UEFA and European football in general.

The Corporate Social Responsibility unit works to strengthen the positive role football plays in society addressing themes that influence, and are influenced by, our sport. The unit supports and works with a wide range of external partners, using their expertise in order to tackle problems like racism, violence, environmental damage and social exclusion.

Internally the division provides communications expertise to all other UEFA divisions, support to the UEFA President, the UEFA Executive Committee and to all other committees.
