We are quickly approaching an inflection point in our growth and in order to support and expand our innovative product and technology base, we are looking for a strong developer to enhance and grow with our downtown Denver based tech team. The successful candidate must be able to work in a rapid application development environment while producing quality code; communicate effectively with internal clients and stakeholders; have strong problem-solving skills; be solutions-oriented and innovative; and, be willing to wear many hats in a small team.

The key attributes for this medium- to senior-level web development position are:

• Solid experience in OO design and development (.NET 2.0 or higher, CF MX 7 or higher)
• If your experience is with .NET, you should have a strong desire and interest in learning ColdFusion ? or vice versa
• Experience with and comfort with iterative development
• Demonstrable familiarity with and adherence to coding standards
• Ability to work independently with the product team to convert business requirements into functionality while re-using/building on our existing code or extending it
• Interest in web analytics and an ability to understand user behavior through the interpretation of usage metrics and reports

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years developing robust, high volume applications for the web
• 4+ years using the .NET framework (2.0 and higher) including C# or Coldfusion, including expertise in the use of CFCs, and MX 7 and higher
• 1+ years in the other platform (.NET for CF developers, CF for .NET developers)
• Database development, particularly, intermediate-level expertise in stored procedures
• Familiarity with DHTML, CSS, AJAX and Javascript

Examiner.com, an innovative online local news and information source, is looking for a dynamic advertising sales assistant who will collaborate with the Sales and Content teams to ensure completion of commitments to advertisers and consumers. Duties will also include assisting in the creation of sales and promotional materials for Examiner.com.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITY
Administrative duties:

• Ad ordering, fulfillment, creative to customers
• Monthly reports for managers and customers
• Assist with appropriate follow-up to sales calls
• Field incoming calls; help with troubleshooting
• Assist with sales prospecting

Marketing duties:

• Sales collateral pieces
• Presentation development (with direction)
• Coordinate with marketing for advertising and promotions
• Ad design, including spec online campaigns
• Develop online promotional/marketing campaigns for special events, niche sites, and category verticals

Misc. duties:

• Assist with marketing planning and coordination
• Marketing and sales research
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

• College degree in related field preferred
