The jewel in Burnout Paradise's crown is Freeburn - our awesome lobby mode. To celebrate the arrival of bikes, we've increased the total Freeburn Challenges to 490 - with 70 all-new bike-specific challenges for you and your friends.

The Bikes

2 bikes are available from the start. Head for any junkyard, and you can choose from the Nakamura FV1100 or the Firehawk V4. Complete the new events, and you'll unlock the XS versions of these bikes - the mighty Firehawk GT Competition and the staggeringly fast FV1100-TI, which includes 8 international paint-jobs.

We've introduced a full 24 hour day and night cycle to the game. The sun rises and sets with our fully customisable clock and triggers different traffic densities and 38 new gameplay events for a truly varied day in Paradise. And if that's not enough to keep you occupied, you can whip through the city breaking new bike-specific fast times set for all 64 streets!

70 New Bike Freeburn Challenges

There are 70 more Freeburn Challenges specially for bikes. Half of these are regular Freeburn Challenges - just hang out with friends and collaborate to get these done in your own time. The other half are timed, multipart challenges that inject a little excitement and allow you to replay to improve your best times.

Dynamic weather brings an all-new look to Paradise City. If you're used to seeing Paradise City swathed in blue skies and blazing sunshine, get ready for an all new look and some interesting race conditions. Paradise City looks truly awesome as you ride into the rising sun through a hazy dawn. Hit the hills for some racing but watch out for fogged conditions to add an extra dimension to the action.
