Membership Information
Our world is torn by irrationalism: by brute force and fanatical terrorism, by assaults on reason in the university, by political encroachments on our individual rights and liberties.
All these evils are the results of ideas: the moral and philosophical ideas that people have been taught are good and true. And these evils will end only as bad ideas are replaced by better ideas: by an inspiring new vision of human morality, human rights, and human potential.
Objectivism is that alternative. Ayn Rand's philosophy challenges the doctrines of irrationalism, self-sacrifice, brute force, and collectivism that have brought centuries of chaos and misery into the lives of millions.
By becoming a member of The Atlas Society, you join a worldwide community of thousands of committed idealists who share Ayn Rand's challenging new philosophy of rational individualism -- and who are working to realize her vision of a world made safe for rational individuals.
How? Read our latest fundraising letter.
Yes, we are making a difference. And now, you can help.
Through your membership participation, you will help The Atlas Society continue to champion Objectivism in the daily cultural clashes taking place in the media, in intellectual forums, in cultural institutions, and in the halls of legislatures. You will help us spread the principles of reason, individualism, freedom, and achievement -- principles vital for a rebirth of civilized values, and a civilized culture.
The cause could not be more important. And the need could not be more urgent.
Please join us today, or -- if you are already a member -- please consider an additional contribution, using our online, secure shopping cart. Or call us at 1-800-374-1776. Or, if you would like to learn more, request a free TAS information packet (or send one to a friend).

Giving Stock to TAS
With the stock market boom of recent years, many investors who wish to cash in their stock holdings face hefty capital gains taxes.
One way to avoid these taxes -- and to support The Atlas Society -- is to make a tax-deductible charitable gift of appreciated stock. We welcome this form of contribution to the Society, and are pleased that it is growing in popularity.
