Description	PalmercarpenterA.jpg English: 1942 photograph of Carpenter at work on Douglas Dam, Tennessee (TVA).Encyclopedic both as a document of carpentry during that era and as a historic example of early color photography. Supersaturation was popular in the United States during that era; a fine example of the esthetics of its place and time. Français : Charpentier au travail sur le barrage de Douglas, Tennesee (États-Unis). Photographie prise en 1942. Cette image documente le travail du charpentier et les techniques de photographie en couleur des années 1940. En particulier, cette photo répond aux canons de son époque, avec une forte saturation.
