Carla Tassara
Carla was born and raised in D.C. with roots in southern Latin America... the source of my 'dramatic' abilities. Her professional performance skills were refined on the best training ground in the business, the Neighborhood Playhouse NY, and 6 years on the New York City stage- Shakespeare, Chekhov, contemporary, comedy, musical, insanely experimental, etc. The fact that she speaks fluent Spanish and English (both in a great variety of accents with incredulous parrot-like skill) gives her a special leg up in this evolving business as she can traverse both worlds at will and extremely well. Carla is an experienced and versatile Film/Stage/Voiceover Actress and Singer who draws upon a plethora of personalities within her persona to create her work. Carla is a young, natural, sexy, funny, free-spirited urbanite with an edge and currently is one of the voices of the bilingual MUN2 Channel.
