Kay Bess
Kay Bess brings over twenty years experience as a voice actor and vocalist to her work. She trained in the esteemed BFA acting program at The University of Southern California and studied Philosophy at UCLA. Kay is also a songwriter, an avid cook, loves the English language and considers a well-written script as delicious as a fine glass of cabernet.
Kay has been heard on hundreds of tv and radio commercials, most recently for Oster Small Appliances, Curves Fitness, Sears Optical, and Southern California Edison. She's done promos for ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, PBS, UPN, Comedy Central, The Discovery Health Channel, The Disney Channel, and CTV News Canada, among others.
Kay's voice is surprisingly versatile with a warm, sophisticated strength, which lends itself well to promos, announcing, "real person" roles, and the harried mom? Well, with a sassy 5 year-old daughter of her own, shes got that one down!
