Fleetwood Mac adds new dates to 'Unleashed' trek
Fleetwood Mac has added a second leg of dates to its first tour in more than five years, a spring trek that will focus on hits from throughout the band's long career.
Dubbed the "Unleashed" tour, the run gets underway March 1 in Pittsburgh, PA, with the new leg bringing the total number of shows on the outing to more than 40. Details are below.
American Express members will once again have early access to tickets, beginning Jan. 17 and ending Jan. 25. Tickets go on sale to the general public starting Jan. 26.
Current members of the band include Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks, Mick Fleetwood and John McVie. Longtime member Christine McVie has retired from the group; she last performed live with Fleetwood Mac at its 1998 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
In conjunction with the tour, Fleetwood Mac's classic 1977 album, "Rumors," will be re-issued as part of a special CD/DVD boxed set on Reprise Record. Additions to the set will include previously unreleased tracks recorded during the making of "Rumors," as well as a DVD component featuring never-before-seen footage of the band.
Fleetwood Mac last toured in 2003 and 2004 to support its 2003 album, "Say You Will."
