Earlier factsheets
The new series of factfiles will replace the CRE's previous factsheets, which were based on the 1991 census.
These older publications are still available on this website, but will be phased out as new factfiles are published.

How many labour migrants come to the UK each year? Is the number of complaints of racial discrimination rising or falling? Does someone's ethnicity have an effect on their chances of having a job?
These are the kind of questions which the CRE's new series of research factfiles sets out to answer.
Each will examine a particular theme, such as employment or demography, using in-depth statistical information compiled from a variety of sources.
We hope these factfiles will be useful for employers, policymakers, researchers, human resources professionals, teachers and students, as well anyone else with an interest in equality issues in the UK.
The first factfile in the series is 'Employment and ethnicity', which was published in April 2006. If you would like to be kept informed of new factsheets as and when they are published, click on the link below.
