. Anne Hathaway, playing stylist for younger brother Tom, during a visit to New York vintage store What Comes Around Goes Around. The award-winning actress was helping her sibling pick out clothes for his semester abroad, and "bought him a bunch of things," a source says. "Everything she tried on, she asked for his opinion as well." The Bride Wars star ended up leaving with a little something for herself too: a Rosette dress.

Patrick Swayze, despite his recent health problems, comes on strong with The Beast, the actor's new A&E show about a shady undercover FBI agent schooling a callow recruit played by Travis Fimmel. Swayze's character plays by his own rules, which are similar to the rules of other bad-ass TV lawmen: manhandling suspects, browbeating his dopey new partner, shooting off rocket launchers. TV's Secret Agent and The Prisoner Star, Patrick McGoohan, Is Dead at 80

Two-time Emmy-award winning actor Patrick McGoohan, the star of TV hits Secret Agent and The Prisoner, has died. He was 80, and passed away in Santa Monica, Calif. after a brief illness, his family told the L.A. Times.
McGoohan was born in New York to Irish parents who returned to Ireland when he was several months old, and later settled in England.
His rise to fame in American pop culture began in 1961, when he starred as John Drake in CBS' British-produced Danger Man. In 1965, he reprised the role in Private Agent, an expansion of the show about a spy working for the English government.
