Pitchfork: Autolux Join NIN, QOTSA Tour

For a band with absolutely no interest in disco, new wave, dance-punk, breakcore, or whatever else is totally hawt right now, Autolux have attracted a fair amount of attention. Enough, evidently, to land them on an arena bill with cool-again Nine Inch Nails and Queens of the Stone Age.

The grunge-psych trio of Carla Azar, Greg Edwards, and Eugene Goreshter traveled far and wide this past winter and spring alongside such notables as Secret Machines, Ambulance Ltd., and the Raveonettes-- in support of their awesome debut LPFuture Perfect. Proving further that they're a go-to opening act, the band will play a pair of California dates supporting the White Stripes and Shellac. Turnstile blues:
