Jay Reatard Announces Third 7" Details, More Shows

Only a matter of days after the release of the last one, and the third installment of hyperprolific punker Jay Reatard's ongoing Matador 7" series is almost upon us. The "Always Wanting More"/"You Mean Nothing to Me" single is due June 24, supposedly in a quantity far smaller than the one that came before.

Both jams rest on the clear vinyl single's A-side, with the flip reserved for a silkscreen design. The sleeve insert, which you can see right up there, was designed by Lindsay Shutt. And if "Always Wanting More" sounds familiar, well, that's 'cuz you already downloaded the sucker through Matador's recent Intended Play compilation of a bunch of their recent releases. And if it's not, well, catching up is oh-so-easy.

Having just wrapped a string of UK dates, Jay's got no live plans 'til July. But hey, that just means we're but a few Jay shows away from his set at the Pitchfork Music Festival.
