Tom Waits Kicks Off "Glitter & Doom" Tour Tonight
Tonight in Phoenix, the stars will finally align as the incomparable Tom Waits will take the stage on the first stop of his "Glitter & Doom" tour. The bard of the barroom will make nice with the road in the States for just shy of a month before heading to Europe to close out July and ring in just a bit of August. Waits promises songs he's never attempted before in a live setting to pepper the setlists on this tour, should attendees need another reason to gloat.
In other Tom Waits news, he's taken the role he was born to play-- Beelzebub, natch-- in the next Terry Gilliam flick.
