Interview with Billy Raygun

Who in your band has the worst hygiene?
Nate (guitar): Zac only showers every 4 days...

Interview with Lagwagon

How has life been going recently? Has it been relaxing, busy, boring?
Busy, boring but fun. It's always changing. I've been on tour a lot these days.

Interview with Deadly Sins

How did the Deadly Sins come to be?
The Deadly Sins were formed by me (Steph) and Billy Brown in late 2005. I had just moved to Las Vegas and, despite our distance apart, we decided to do this band anyway! He had always wanted to have a female singer and have the basic idea of the band based on the band "X." We started working on tunes and noticed how our voices really complimented each other! Not to mention, Billy is an absolutely amazing songwriter. I fell in love with all the songs right away! Bice came aboard next, then Brenden jumped (though, he can't jump in real life) in next. Brenden and I have toured together for years, with the Dropkicks, so he was a perfect fit. The last piece to the puzzle was Joe. Joe and Billy played in Crash and Burn together, so it all just started to make sense. We are all very different people, who happened to get along great and love this music. I think we are very lucky to have found each other.

Interview with Stereophonics

Stereophonics just played the U.S for a short tour. They are about to release a Best-Of album "Decade in the Sun: Best of Stereophonics" in November. ReadJunk.com recently sent the band a few questions and Javier was nice enough to respond.

Interview with The Pier (Pilipo)

Let’s start off by telling all of the Readjunkies a little bit about The Pier.
The Pier first launched online August 2007 - the creation behind the site was to positively promote reggae-hip hop-rock music and give fans the opportunity to read and interact with their favorite bands from the scene. We want to take the summer beach good vibes to the virtual world when you can’t be there in the reality. In our first year we have had over 60 in-depth interviews with the likes of Slightly Stoopid, Pepper, Kottonmouth Kings, Pennywise and more. Plus the site features daily news, album and concert reviews, chat boards, FREE music, plus a helpful musician advice section called Ask Weege (lead vocalist from 880 South). Lately The Pier has been covering it all, any band is welcome no matter the style of music. It's all about spreading the good times and putting a smile on your face. In terms of what bands we will feature, we are the sluts of internet music world and will pretty much hook up with anyone.

Interview with Plan 9

Plan 9 is an awesome Misfits-influenced punk band that started out as a tribute band. They now have original music and released their latest album "Manmade Monster" on Nickel and Dime Records. ReadJunk.com's Amy Schroeder sent the band a few...

Interview with The Levellers

"Letters From The Underground" is about to be released and I think it’s one of your best albums! Is it a little daunting to try to follow-up on an album that is (or will be) so well-received?
No, can always do better.

Interview with The Copyrights

Is your name The Copyrights because you stole Screeching Weasel's sound?
Um, yes? We copied them right, right?

Interview with No Use For A Name (Tony Sly)

The Feel Good Record of the Year was just released on Fat Wreck Chords. How do you think this album came out, and how would you rank it among your other albums?
It's best or second best. I love it. I love playing the songs live more so than other records. Keep them confused kind of sucked.

Interview with Billy Raygun

I am baffled by your suckiness. Could you please explain it to me in lay terms?
Color me offended! We only practice once a week. Sometimes not even that much, because Calvin plays in an actually good band (myspace.com/wtg) and Cakes and Nate play in marching band, which means we have to give up practice every once in a while. We're all prepubescent. Those are the only reasons I can think of.
