Pikes Peak Library District (PPLD) is a nationally recognized public library system serving a population of 508,000 in El Paso County, Colorado.
Pikes Peak Library District has resources for children, teens, adults, and seniors. Library resources are available in multiple languages, large print, audio, and video formats.

Pikes Peak Library District Foundation and Friends support library funding and advocate for the library branches, and the district as a whole, in their respective communities.
The district has free Internet and Microsoft Office access at all locations, free wireless connectivity at most locations, as well as a collection of eBooks and eAudios, email reading lists, and Ask-a-Librarian online reference service.

Pikes Peak Library District sponsors three major annual community programs:
- All Pikes Peak Reads (APPR)
- Summer reading programs for kids and teens[1]
- Adult Reading Program
In addition, distirct libraries host events such as storytimes, computer classes, and author visits.

- Penrose Library, in downtown Colorado Springs

- Briargate Branch
- Cheyenne Mountain Branch
- Fountain Branch
- Monument Branch
- Old Colorado City Branch, a Carnegie library
- Palmer Lake Branch
- Rockrimmon Branch
- Ruth Holley Branch
- Sand Creek Branch
- Ute Pass Branch, in Cascade, Colorado
PPLD also operates 2 bookmobiles.
