Okkervil River convened for their annual State of the Band Board Meeting (not really) and Pitchfork's Jessica Suarez was there. In the first half of this two-parter, Will Sheff and company talk about authenticity, Daniel Johnston, and an endless jam with Roky Erickson on "I Walked With a Zombie" that sounds like a career highlight for everyone involved.
