Pavement Add Live LP to Brighten Reissue Preorder

Tracklist updated, other Buy Early Get Now details emerge
Pavement Add Live LP to Brighten Reissue Preorder

Sure, Matador's deluxe reissue of Pavement's fourth LP, Brighten the Corners, is still due to hit your stereo November 18. But should you opt to preorder the set through the label's webstore or at a few select record shops around the U.S., you'll be treated to Matador's Buy Early Get Now program and all the spoils that come with it.

For Brighten the Corners: Nicene Creedence Ed., interested parties will get a full stream of the album through the Buy Early site starting October 10, a bonus jam October 21, and another to follow November 4. See, 'cuz if you buy early, you'll... well, you see.

But the big prize arrives on the day of Brighten's proper release. Come November 18, those who bought early will not only receive their copy of Nicene, but also a vinyl copy of Pavement's Live. This concert recording from the first Brighten the Corners tour was originally intended for release in July of 1998, but never saw the light of day. Now it's available exclusively through the presale. As is a poster! But mostly the live LP. No word on a tracklist for that one just yet.

Thanks to reader Daniel Kolitz for the tip.

And speaking of tracklists, Matador has amended and expanded the one attached to the Brighten reissue since we first reported it; the new rundown can be found below. And, while you're pulling out your credit cards, we'll slip those Jicks dates down there as well.
