Calla Embark on Massive World Tour
The Pitchfork Newswire's got news for you, bitch: if you haven't heard Calla yet, you'd better have a damn good excuse (and nope, that mere 7.5 we doled out last month to the band's latest, Televise, ain't good enough), 'cause they're coming your way and we're taking roll call. Calla's presently calling Brooklyn their home, their shows are reportedly among the most anticipated in New York.
n
Effective immediately, the
band is taking their achingly beautiful music to "old Europe." As posted on the Arena Rock website, this
nearly non-stop jaunt through France, Italy and Britain will be briefly interrupted by two dates in New
York, then it's back across the pond for more dates in Germany, Ireland, Holland, and Austria. Finally,
some lucky locales in the U.S. will host Calla for the remainder of May. There are rumors of more U.S.
dates, as yet unconfirmed. When they're announced we'll be sure to let you know.
