Futureheads Cancel U.S. Tour

Presentwrist issues derail Stateside plans
Futureheads Cancel U.S. Tour As many a musician well knows, tendonitis is a bitch. Turns out Futurehead Barry Hyde's been struck down with a severe case of inflamed left wrist tendon, and rather than play through it and worry about it later, the band have ("with great sadness") made the decision to cancel their upcoming U.S. tour, which was to kick off in Seattle on October 4.

Check the full list of cancelled dates below. In a post on the Futureheads' website, guitarist/vocalist Ross Millard relayed the unfortunate turn of events, apologizing for the inconvenience and promising a return to the U.S. "at the next available opportunity."

"We are deeply sorry," Millard wrote, "but I guess we have to focus on Barry making progress toward recovery, and only rest will enable that."

Skip to the end for a batch of UK dates, which Millard assured fans are still on as of now.
