The very same Nattjazz Festival that brought Bryan Ferry to Bergen, Norway a couple weeks ago drew to a close over the weekend, but not before playing host to the desert guitar rock of Mali's Tinariwen. Festivalgoers were particularly thrilled to find Ibrahim Ag Alhabib back and in fine form after the frontman collapsed from exhaustion during a concert in England on May 25.
Tinariwen's upcoming touring itinerary is relatively light, with a smattering of mostly festival gigs across the summer months.
