Here is a list of the current hail pad drop off sites, if you have
any questions please contact the Volunteer Coordinator
for your city or county:
Adams County
- Greatwood Lumber/Ace Hardware store at the SW corner of I-70
and Exit #340 (Bennett exit). The Hail pad box is located at the
North side of the main gate. Only accessible during regular store
hours, Mon. thru Fri. 7am till 6pm, Sat. 8-5, Sun. 9-4.
Arapahoe County
- Jim Muhm's house in the Belleview and Holly area. Please call
for directions: 303-793-0505
Archuleta County
- Fred Harman Art Museum, 2560 W. Hwy 160, the nearest cross street
is Piedra Road [Box should be near entrance to the Art Museum],
Pagosa Springs CO.

Boulder County
- NCAR
FL2, behind reception near COMET classroom
- J. Marshall's
house in Boulder, 3360 Dartmouth, hail pad bins are in the carport
near the back.
- Longmont Front Range Community College, Classroom Building,
Entrance 4 at 2121 Miller Drive. This is in the industrial complex
just south of the railroad tracks, just East of Hover, south of
Ken Pratt. There is a green box just to the right of the front
desk.
- For NOAA
employees only, there is a hail pad drop off at the NWS in room
3C508.
Denver County

Douglas county
- Douglas County
has a drop at the CSU Extension office on the corner of the Douglas
County Fairgrounds, in South Castle Rock a few blocks East of
I-25. It the the small 2 story building visible as soon as you
enter on the right side of the road. The box sits outside on the
top level.

Directions: From University and Dad Clark (which is 1 block south of C470 and Univ.), go one block south on University and turn right on Green Meadows. Take first right onto Terraridge. 2452 is on the left about 9 houses.
Elbert County
- Fran's house? 8556 Highway 86, Kiowa. I'm exactly two miles west of the Kiowa bridge in a gray A-line house with a red silo on the south side of Highway 86. It is a quarter mile east of the intersection of County Road 33 and Highway 86. The hail pads will be in front of the the grey shack in a blue barrel. 303-621-8847

Huerfano County
- The CSU Cooperative Extension office in Walsenburg. It is in
the basement of the County Courthouse; Enter on the south side
of the building. They also have rain gauges and folders for new
volunteers.

Radio Station,
4700 S Syracuse Parkway (Syracuse & Union) Tower 1, Suite
1050, Denver, CO 80237. Steve Hamilton will collect them, call
him at 303-967-2807 between Noon and 5pm weekdays to arrange the
pickup.
- Jefferson
County Health Department,
1801 19th Street, Golden Co. Drop off is at the Environmental
desk but call Roy Laws first at (303) 271-5734, (303) 619-5114
(cell phone). Hours are Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Aspen Park
Ace Hardware store. Box is in the right side rear of the store
near the water cooler, just leave your used pad and pick up replacements.

around the corner behind the US Forest Service Building. We even
have a picture of this one!
Park County
- FAIRPLAY: 880 Bogue Street at the Colorado State University
Extension Office. CoCoRahs has a beige wooden box located at the
SE end of the building against a utility pole. Leave used pads
here and get new ones also. You can pick up Hail Reports Forms
too. This location is accessible 24 hours a day and is located
outdoors. If you notice any tampering, please let the county coordinator
know at ParkCountyCoCoRahs@hotmailcom or 719-836-4580.
- LAKE GEORGE: Hwy 24 located at the CUSP (Coalition for the Upper
South Platte) Office across the street from the Post Office. Their
phone number is 719-748-0033 and they are open 10am to 4pm on
the weekdays.
- CONIFER: Aspen Park Hardware and Lumber located at 26572 Barkley
Road. Their hours are 8am to 6pm on weekdays, Saturday-8am to
5pm and Sunday-9am to 4pm. There phone number is 303-838-5335.
Go into the store and go to the rear and you will find a cardboard
box next to the drinking fountain. Here you can leave used hail
pads and pick up news one. Hail Reports forms are also here.
Pueblo County
