Newbury College is a college in Brookline, Massachusetts, in the northeastern United States.

The school was established in 1962 and is part of the New England Association of Schools and College, Inc. (NEASC) through its Commission on Institutions of Higher Education. The Interior Design program is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation, and the Business and Computer programs are accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE)

Newbury is situated on Fisher Hill, approximately three miles west of downtown Boston. The college comprises eight buildings, including Mitton House, Edwards Hall, West Hall, Weltman Hall, and the Roger A. Saunders building.

The school offers both two- and four-year degree programs. The two-year associate's degree in Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management is perhaps the primary focus of the college, centering in the Roger A. Saunders School of Hotel & Restaurant Management building, as well as in the Mitton House and Weltman Hall.

The school colors are green and gold, and the school mascot is the nighthawk.

The Newbury College teams recently began playing NCAA Division III athletics, although their most notable game to date was the baseball team's 57-1 loss to Bridgewater State on April 9, 2007, setting or tying Division-III records for the most RBIs, hits, runs and the largest margin of victory.[1]

The Newbury Nighthawks baseball team was featured in an article by ESPN in its inaugural season.[2]

Newbury is also well known for its volleyball programs. The women's team won a school record 23 matches during the 2006 season, while winning the NCAA Division-III Northeast Independent Championships for the first time. They also won the title in 2007.

The men's team has been ranked nationally through the AVCA coaches poll, reaching as high as #6 in the nation for Division-III men's volleyball. The team finished its 2007 campaign with the school's first ever ECAC championship. In 2008 they were won win away from going to the Molten Final Four. In 2008 they won their first ever NECVA New England Title. They won the 2008 ECAC Championship while winning 33 matches on the season, which is a school record.
