Located in the heart of the St. James’s Gate Brewery, Guinness Storehouse is Ireland’s number one international visitor attraction. The Guinness Storehouse building dates back to 1904 and is built in the style of the Chicago School of Architecture, making it a shrine for those not only interested in Guinness, but architecture, Irish culture and heritage alike. The massive seven storey building, the former Guinness Fermentation plant, has been remodelled into the shape of a giant pint of Guinness with the awe inspiring Gravity Bar forming the head of the pint on the seventh floor.
Guinness Storehouse welcomes over 940,000 visitors per year from around the globe and is a ‘must-see’ visitor attraction in Dublin city. Visitors can experience the people, process and the passion behind Guinness, as they trace the journey of this fascinating and world-loved beer. Guinness Storehouse is open 7 days a week from 9.30am until 5pm. Late opening in July and August is until 7pm each evening.
Closed on Good Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and St Stephens Day (Boxing Day).
Adult admission is €14.00, which includes a complimentary pint of Guinness in the Gravity Bar.
