"Sickness is a fact," Norwegian popstress Annie reminds us in a recent MySpace blog post. And, alas, it's also a fact that folks who are sick like Annie's sick-- with a throat infection and a fever-- shouldn't be doing things like hanging out with a bunch of people. Or singing. Or pretty much anything except blogging about her illness, and then heading back to bed. So it goes.

Fact is, Annie's been forced to cancel her appearance at London's Cargo tomorrow night (July 10). Apologizing profusely, Annie adds, "hopefully I'll get much better..and maybe never sick again...x my fingers!!!" Hey, they say that positive thinking stuff really works.

But hopefully, there ain't a malady out there that will stop Annie from getting Don't Stop onto shelves. Her sophomore set is due October 6 in the UK from Island, with the "I Know Ur Girlfriend Hates Me" single out July 13.
