Citizens of New Zealand, prepare to meet some New Pornographers. For the first time ever, the Canadian supergroup will head to the island nation for a few live appearances in October, hot on the heels of a  ho-hum tour of boring old Australia. (Note to Australians: we citizens of the Northern Hemisphere are fascinated by your beautiful country, and are merely using sarcasm to mask our genuine feelings of envy. Though we are still unsure what it is you want us to do with this vegemite.)

There's New Pornographers dates aplenty in North America as well, including that Stanley Park Singing Exhibition they themselves curated.

In extracurricular New Pornographers news, relatively new Pornographer Kathryn Calder (also of Immaculate Machine) crafted one of those Yellow Bird Project t-shirts, the proceeds for which go to the ALS Society of British Columbia.

And hey, if you're looking to take in a little Porno movie (sorry), synth star Blaine Thurier's directorial effort  Male Fantasy recently hit DVD. The film features original music from A.C. Newman and the Sun City Girls. Note: Googling the phrase "male fantasy movie pornographers" may not give you quite what you're looking for.
