Faraquet Deliver Singles Comp on Dischord
Like many Dischord bands, Faraquet weren't around for long. Their original run was from 1997-2001, but with their reunion last year comes the need to remind folks of the band's salad days in recorded form.
Faraquet's reminder comes in the form of a previously hinted-at singles compilation called Anthology 1997-98, which is available exclusively now via Dischord and due elsewhere on July 28. The comp comes in CD, LP, and MP3 formats, the latter courtesy of Dischord's recent effort to put its entire catalog online for download (including all that rare and out-of-print stuff!).
Faraquet have no shows at the moment, but already reunited members Devin Ocampo (ex-Smart Went Crazy) and Chad Molter plan to join original bassist Jeff Boswell (ex-Smart Went Crazy) for some gigs after the release of Anthology.
Ocampo and Molter's more recently formed band, Medications, has a show on July 28 with Don Zientara at the Galaxy Hut in Arlington, Virginia.
