Dylan, Sonic Youth, Bikini Kill (?!) on Rock Band 2

As goes Axl, so goes, like, everybody. The full "setlist" for the forthcoming Rock Band 2 video game has just been revealed, and as you can imagine, it's a doozy. Apart from confirming today's news that GnR's "Shackler's Revenge", the first official track from Chinese Democracy, will emerge in playable form in the game, both AC/DC and Bob Dylan make their video game debuts, with "Let There Be Rock" and "Tangled Up in Blue" respectively.

If you happen to own the original Rock Band, you'll be able to export tracks from that disc onto the new game, and all the tunes you've downloaded for Rock Band the first will be playable in Rock Band 2. What's more, each and every song featured on the Rock Band 2 On-Disc is culled from the master recordings, ensuring that your version of "Float On" won't suffer the same fate as the Kidz Bop one. (Alas, there is still not much to be done with Geddy Lee.) Rock Band 2 will be available on Xbox 360 in September, with the PS2, PS3 and Wii incarnations to follow later this year.

Oh, and have we mentioned just how bonkers the song selection on this thing is? It is bonkers. There's awesome stuff like Mastodon's "Colony of Birchmen" and Interpol's "PDA" and Sonic Youth's "Teen Age Riot" and the Replacements' "Alex Chilton" and, oh shit, Bikini Kill's "Rebel Girl", and... well, anyway. [And fucking LUSH! WTF?!-- Ed.] The full tracklist is available down below.
