Racebannon Return With Album, Tour, Merzbow Remix
Bloomington, Indiana quartet Racebannon will soon put an end to years of record-releasing silence with all the blood curdling screams we've come to expect from them. Those screams take the form of a new album called Acid or Blood (looks like they chose the latter), which sullies a record store shelf near you August 12 thanks to Southern Records.
The newly rejuvenated Racebannon also have a double-disc set of remixed material, another new album entitled Six Sick Sisters, and a 12" featuring a Ministry cover in the works. And, just in case these guys weren't extreme enough by themselves, they've handed the entirety of 2002 concept LP Satan's Kickin' Yr Dick In to the one and only Merzbow for a forthcoming "Merzbannon" remix 12". Goodbye hearing.
Racebannon will tour in support of Acid or Blood this month and the next, and a majority of their upcoming shows are with Florida's Light Yourself on Fire.
