Goldfrapp Announce Fall North American Tour
Goldfrapp's Seventh Tree continues to bear fruit, this time in the form of a tour, an iTunes exclusive compilation, and the digital release of the "Caravan Girl" single.
Working our way through that list backwards, the single is the previously reported little bugger that features an Animal Collective remix of "Little Bird" as well as a live choral version of "Caravan Girl" and a live acoustic version of "Monster Love". It gets a digital release via Mute on July 22.
The compilation is an iTunes Originals session, which means that in addition to Goldfrapp album tracks it features exclusively recorded versions of tunes from the duo's catalog alongside interviews and commentary. iTunes Originals: Goldfrapp will hit the digital retailer on August 12.
After spending all that time in the digital world, Goldfrapp will get back on the road. They'll do hit North America in September after a string of European festival dates in August.
