Once they bowl over the U.S. (or at least the sum total of its bespectacled comedian population), the Hold Steady will skip the pond for run of dates in the UK and Europe. Still fresh off both the release of the P4K recommended Stay Positive and their typically barnstorming set at the Pitchfork Music Festival, the band is on the road right now, hitting Los Angeles tonight.

Also note: if you, like me, tried to get yourself Stay Positive on vinyl the week it came out, you may have been greeted with a disheartening look from your local record clerk. Though the CD is out now, manufacturing delays have reportedly slowed the vinyl, keeping it off of shelves and, subsequently, your turntable.

When they're released, Vagrant's initial limited edition pressions of the vinyl LP will feature the bonus track "Ask Her for Adderall". Sounds like the dudes running the vinyl plant should've taken Craiggers' advice on that one, eh? I smell an all-nighter brewin' down at the record plant.
