GZA Embraces Pro Tools on New Album
It's nice to know all the Liquid Swords nostalgia hasn't consumed GZA to the point of preventing future releases. In fact, the MC has done away with nostalgia entirely by calling his fifth solo album Pro Tools.
The album is credited to GZA/Genius and features production from the likes of RZA, Mathematics, and Black Milk. Wu mates Masta Killa and RZA, among others, contributed guest verses. The album includes the 50 Cent diss track "Paper Plate".
Babygrande will release Pro Tools on August 19, and you can check out its cover below.
GZA is all set to embrace the nostalgia live with performances of Liquid Swords through September and even more dates beyond. His next show is July 25 in Louisville, Kentucky at the Forecastle Festival.
