Spiegelworld is a mostly musical extravaganza that packs an unfathomable number of bands, DJs, and other artists into New York City's South Street Seaport for regular events starting in mid-summer and ending in mid-fall.

This year, the third annual summer carnival series runs from August 6 through November 2, and its lineup for various nights includes Deerhoof, the Dodos, Nellie McKay (covering "the classics"), Dresden Dolls' Amanda Palmer, Au, Tim Fite, Harry and the Potters, Martha Wainwright (singing Edith Piaf), Antibalas, the Bird and the Bee, Ute Lemper, and Laura Cantrell.

Spiegelworld's exact location on the South Street Seaport is Pier 17. Since the full list of Spiegelworld events is exhausting, we've provided a list of some of the highlights after the jump.
