Mighty Underdogs [ft. Gift of Gab, Lateef] Prep Debut LP
Album features DJ Shadow, MF DOOM, Mr. Lif, Damian Marley, Lyrics Born
As some of the most traveled of Bay Area rap journeymen, the Mighty Underdogs earn their name. Comprised of Gift of Gab (Blackalicious), Lateef the Truth Speaker, and Headnodic (Crown City Rockers), the trio will release its debut album via Definitive Jux on October 14.
The album is called Droppin' Science Fiction and features guest appearances from DJ Shadow, MF DOOM, Mr. Lif, Damian Marley, Chali 2na, Lyrics Born, and Casual.
The Mighty Underdogs will travel for the rest of the summer and into the fall with a variety of first-class tour partners, including DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist, Aesop Rock, and Blackalicious.
