Shearwater Gear Up for Headlining Tour
Shearwater have some time to recuperate from opening one of the biggest tours of the year before hitting the road again. When they do start their next round of dates, they'll cover quite a bit of ground. The tour starts on the West Coast in late August before making its way to Europe, the UK, and Ireland by the time it ends in late September. Matador labelmate Jennifer O'Connor will join Shearwater on most of the West Coast dates.
Of course, all of these shows are in support of the band's recently released Rook LP. And for those fixing for more bird nerdery from Jonathan Meiburg, look no further than the man's recent interview on the subject with birding blog The Birdist. You've got to admit, the guy is passionate about his birds.
