It's Radiohead: The Screensaver!
Do computers dream of electric Yorke? Now they do. Radiohead's groundbreaking, camera-less "House of Cards" video is now an interactive screen saver, free to download from TBD Records for Mac OS X and Windows. (Via At Ease Web.)
It's pretty nifty, actually, in a play-at-home Pink Floyd laser show sorta way. Between this and Pineapple Express and all the synchronized diving on the Olympics, I'd expect the productivity of the world's stoner population to hit historic lows this week.
While we're on the subject of distracting web-based delights, this brief, manic video from the In Rainbows sessions was recently uncovered by producer Nigel Godrich and posted to the Radiohead website by Thom Yorke:
So, not exactly "House of Cards II" or anything, but whatever chance we can get to see Thom shake and shimmy, we'll take.
To that end, we've got Radiohead tour dates aplenty down below. Oh, and in case you hadn't heard, Radiohead are very generous, "Reckoner" is on the Choke soundtrack, and Chuck Palahniuk is confused.
