Max Tundra Reveals First Album in Six Years
Ben "Max Tundra" Jacobs does not care one iota about your hype cycles and any failings in your short-term memory. He only cares about one thing: getting shit right.
The self-described perfectionist has emerged from a self-imposed studio exile with a recombinant set he's calling Parallax Error Beheads You. The disc, dude's first since 2002's Mastered by Guy at the Exchange, is due in the UK on CD and LP from Domino October 13, with a single for the oh-so-clever "Will Get Fooled Again" coming at you September 29. A North American release is set for an indeterminate point in November.
Maxy will hit the road this fall, with a mess of UK dates with Hot Chip, a band whose entire career span has happened since Max Tundra last put out an album. You snooze, you, uh, win?
