The Death-o-Cab-ic National Convention continues this week in Denver with the announcement of Ben Gibbard's second set during the Democratic National Convention.

The Death Cab for Cutie frontman will perform tomorrow (August 27) at the Manifest Hope Gallery as part of an event called Unconventional '08, presented by Moveon.org and Generation Obama.

Joining Gibbard on the "Collaborative Stage" at Unconventional '08's VIP Gallery will be Jenny Lewis, Zooey Deschanel (She & Him), Matthew Caws (Nada Surf), and Johnathan Rice. They are Performing on Unconventional '08's general-admission "Street Party Stage" will be Nada Surf, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, DJ Z-Trip, Cold War Kids, and Silversun Pickups. Sarah Silverman will also make an appearance at the event.

As previously reported, Gibbard and Death Cab guitarist Chris Walla will perform an acoustic set tonight, August 26, at a private educational event called "Concert for a Cooler Planet" presented by the League of Conservation Voters.
