Mad Decent, Mae Shi, Free Blood Remix Telepathe
With its stuttering, Mannie Fresh-indebted beat and relatively spare vocals, Telepathe's "Chrome's on It" is precisely the kind of tune that lends itself to remixes of all sorts.
Three such remixes of "Chrome's on It"-- and two of the Brooklyn band's "Bells"-- appear on the forthcoming Chrome's on It EP, due in 12" vinyl and digital formats October 14 from IAMSOUND. Diplo's Mad Decent crew, the Mae Shi, and Frankmusik all put in work on the title track, while "Bells" gets the remix treatment courtesy of Free Blood and Bobby "Brother Reade" Evans.
Telepathe, as we've mentioned, are all over that Mad Decent tour with Diplo, Abe Vigoda, and Boy 8-Bit. First up, however, is a show in Pennsylvania late next month.
