Love Is All Finally Reveal New Album Details
Way the hell back in the first week of February, we noted that Swedish popsters Love Is All had titled and, by their account, finished work on their follow-up to 2005's stellar Nine Times That Same Song. It's September now, and we've finally got the vitals on the new disc, entitled A Hundred Things Keep Me Up at Night. One wonders if "sitting on a completed record for over half a year" is one of those things?
Anyhoo, the 11-track Hundred Things, produced by ex-Aislers Set guitarist Wyatt Cusick, is due November 11 from What's Your Rupture?. Sounds as though Cusick and the band had a lot of fun putting the record together, employing echoey halls in place of synthetic reverb effects and mixing in street noise with the band's trademark tuneful skronk.
Love Is All will embark on brief tours in Europe and the U.S. (including several dates with Of Montreal) this month and next, respectively. Jet lag: another thing that might keep ‘em up at night. 98 more to go!
