David Bowie Digs Into His Catalog for New Compilation

Shape-shifting music legend David Bowie will add to his catalog's large collection of compilations with the release of iSELECT: BOWIE via Virgin/EMI on October 14.

Fortunately, iSELECT: BOWIE isn't just another collection of the same old hits. Bowie originally curated the disc himself to be bundled with the June 29, 2008 edition of the UK's Mail on Sunday newspaper. The tracks are mostly off the beaten path, all songs Bowie "never seems to tire of," according to a press release.

In addition to the album and live tracks Bowie selected, the compilation features two exclusives: a Bowie-remixed version of Never Let Me Down's "Time Will Crawl" and a track called "Some Are" from Bowie's Low sessions with Brian Eno.

iSELECT: BOWIE:

01 Life on Mars?
02 Sweet Thing/Candidate/Sweet Thing
03 The Bewlay Brothers
04 Lady Grinning Soul
05 Win
06 Some Are
07 Teenage Wildlife
08 Repetition
09 Fantastic Voyage
10 Loving the Alien
11 Time Will Crawl (MM remix)
12 Hang on to Yourself [live]
