Madlib Shares New Beat Konducta Album Details
Madlib, the herb-happy beatmaker you can set your watch to, has revealed the details of his next Beat Konducta album before his WLIB AM: King of the Wigflip compilation even has a chance to arrive (that one's due September 30 in the States and September 29 elsewhere via Rapster).
Previously, we reported that the fifth Beat Konducta record is called Dil Cosby Suite. What we now know is that Stones Throw will release it on October 28. Also, its tracklist is after the jump, and its cover is below.
Madlib also has a record with Guilty Simpson called O.J. Simpson due later this fall on Stones Throw, and a few upcoming gigs, including a pair of DJ dates under the Beat Konducta guise.
In the Land of Things Available Right Now, Stones Throw has a special little digital release in its store that's got nothing to do with Madlib. Instead it features Ghostface Killah and MF DOOM rapping over beats from the late J Dilla's Donuts. Sniperlite features the previously unreleased "Sniper Elite [ft. MF DOOM]" and "Murder Goons [ft. Ghostface Killah]". Each track is available for download individually, and there is a bonus track that mixes the two together, as their original instrumentals were on Donuts.
Finally, Stones Throw is also currently offering a podcast that gives listeners a taste of Madlib's WLIB AM. Check that here.
