Khan & BBQ Add Dates, Prep 7" With Coloring Book
Wounds healing nicely after Arish "King" Khan's recent altercation with Mastodon guitarist Brent Hinds, the King Khan & BBQ Show have punched up their forthcoming fall tour with some new North American dates. Khan and longtime pal Mark "BBQ" Sultan will hit the road later this month, following their appearance next week at the Funtastic Drácula Carnival festival in Valencia, Spain. There is something very appropriate about that last bit.
As there is with this: the King Khan & BBQ Show will issue a limited edition gatefold 7" single that comes with a 15-page coloring book with drawings by Montreal artist Mathieu Trudel. Sporting "Animal Party" on the A-side and "God of Raisins" on the B, it's due on an as-yet-undetermined date in November from Fat Possum.
BBQ, meanwhile, is presently off in Europe doing his solo thing. Those dates, too, are down below.
