Robert Wyatt Reissued by Domino, Remixed by Hot Chip

Iconic art rocker Robert Wyatt will get the reissue treatment from Domino this fall. The label that released Wyatt's last album, 2007's Comicopera, will tackle nine reissues on CD and vinyl, split into two groups.

Reissues of the 1974 live album Drury Lane, 1974's Rock Bottom, 1975's Ruth Is Stranger Than Richard, and 1981's Nothing Can Stop Us will arrive on October 27. 1985's Old Rottenhat, 1998's Dondestan (Revisited) (itself a revision of 1991's Dondestan), 1997's Shleep, the 1999 EP collection EPs, and 2003's Cuckooland will follow on November 17. All of them feature the same tracklists as their original versions.

Then on December 8, Domino will release a box set featuring all of these records. Whew!

Before all of this, however, Wyatt will release newer music in the form of a collaborative single with French producer and composer Bertrand Burgalat. The song, "This Summer Night", originally appeared on Burgalat's 2007 album Chéri B.B. The single comes out October 20 and features Hot Chip's remix of the track on its B-side.

Keep in mind that all of these releases are UK-only for now. Information on U.S. releases is forthcoming.
