At this rate, Sufjan Stevens will have collaborated with 50 different artists before he hits us with another volume in that 50 States Project (hey, remember that?). Following swiftly on the heels of a Serena-Maneesh meet-up in Norway, some production/arrangement/instrumentation work on the Welcome Wagon's debut album, and all manner of other extracurriculars, Sufjan joined both St. Vincent (to cover Phil Collins' "In the Air Tonight") and Nico Muhly (to, uh, turn sheet music pages) during their respective sets at this past weekend's BAM Takeover-- an event for which he served as musical curator.

Also on hand for the Brooklyn Academy of Music all-nighter: Naomi Shelton and the Gospel Queens, the Budos Band, DJ Vikter Duplaix, and the Brooklyn Youth Chorus, who performed some of Muhly's compositions. Alas, to the best of our knowledge, Sufjan was not involved in any pillow fights or toenail-painting sessions.
