The 2008 Austin City Limits Music Festival brought the masses out to the Texas capital's Zilker Park over the long weekend, packing in three full days of food, folk, and fun, plus plenty of other musical genres too.

The festivities kicked off Friday, September 26, with performances from David Byrne, Jenny Lewis, M. Ward, Vampire Weekend, Manu Chao, Yeasayer, Mates of State, the Swell Season, Bobby Bare Jr., and more.
