A-Trak, Digitalism, Hot Chip Remix on Kitsune Comp
Every so often, French dance imprint Kitsuné gathers together a few bangers, draws up some nifty cartoon artwork, and calls it Kitsuné Maison.
The sixth such entry in the label's Maison series-- which follows those admittedly loose guidelines to a T-- is due October 27 in CD, double LP, and digital formats. Kitsuné Maison 6: The Melodic One gathers tunes from A-Trak, Fischerspooner, Digitalism, Lo-Fi-Fnk, Hearts Revolution, and the Shoes, plus a Hot Chip remix of a Grovesnor jam and plenty more.
Grovesnor and fellow Maison 6 acts autoKratz and You Love Her Coz She'd Dead will join Cazals at a record release show October 30 at La Maroquinerie in Paris.
All this comes in advance of the label's November UK tour, which sees Hearts Revolution, Beni, autoKratz, and Punks Jump Up joining forces for the preservation of the motion of hips.
Kitsuné Maison 6: The Melodic One:
01 Lo-Fi-Fnk: "Want U"
02 La Roux: "Quicksand"
03 PNAU: "With You Forever"
