Animal Collective Reveal Merriweather Tracklist
Click on over to Animal Collective's webspot and point your mouse toward the scribble that reads Merriweater Post Pavilion. No, seriously, do it!
You'll be greeted by a sorta stoned sounding voice laconically announcing something like "uh, that tracklisting," followed by what may very well be the running order of Animal Collective's proper follow-up to last year's Strawberry Jam.
Bear in mind, we're still not exactly sure what Merriweather Post Pavilion's gonna be, but the list of tunes does sport the names of a few cuts the band has been playing out lately, and they have been talking about a new LP for some time. An official announcement is expected later today, according to Domino, but for now you have this to take to the water cooler.
What we do know right now, however, is where Animal Collective will be for the next few weeks: all over the place.
