Hauschka Hits the Road, Plans U.S. Dates
Prepared piano kingpin Volker Bertelmann, the man behind Hauschka and the recent Pitchfork-recommended Ferndorf, will make his way to a number of venues in Europe and the U.S. over the next few months. On all of his Stateside dates but one, he'll be joined by FatCat labelmate Tom Brosseau, with whom he'll perform a collaborative piece or two onstage. And, on both the Chicago and New York City dates, he'll be accompanied by a string quartet. Somebody at P4k HQ is swooning right now.
Ferndorf, meanwhile, is out now on FatCat.
