Though 2008 will go down as one of just two years this decade that didn't find Animal Collective releasing a new full-length album-- they already have 2009 covered-- that doesn't mean the guys haven't been characteristically busy. We got the Water Curses EP this past spring, a mind-expanding performance at this summer's Pitchfork Music Festival, and plenty of tour stops besides-- including Tel Aviv, Israel, which the AC gang hit up late last week.
