This New Ludacris Cover Is Ludicr...Oh, You Know
That right there is the cover art for Ludacris' new album, Theater of the Mind, which comes out courtesy of Disturbing the Peace/Def Jam on November 25. [Via Nah Right] In this picture, which takes the record's title fairly literally, Mr. Bridges takes a break from promoting Max Payne to show off the myriad angles at which he can tilt his head.
Theater of the Mind returns Ludacris to the heights of cover art insanity last scaled on 2001's Word of Mouf and 2003's Chicken N Beer. We're glad he's back.
OnSmash has a tentative tracklist for the follow-up to 2006's Release Therapy, and it's chock full of guest appearances by Jay-Z, Nas, T.I., Common, T-Pain, Lil Wayne, the Game, Chris Rock, and Spike Lee. Production comes from DJ Premier, DJ Toomp, 9th Wonder, and Three 6 Mafia's DJ Paul and Juicy J, among others.
According to Nah Right, the producer of "I Do It for Hip-Hop" might be either DJ Premier or WYLDFYER. The latter also might produce "Last of a Dying Breed" instead of Kids With Machine Gunz. Finally, Nah Right lists the producers of "Southern Gangsters" as Streetrunners.
Ludacris' one live show is a November 22 appearance at Bridges Auditorium in Claremont, CA.
